Stuart C. Mathews is an estate, business, and tax attorney. Mr. Mathews is focused on his ability to help businesses and families navigate successfully through their legal matters and deliver solutions to meet their goals. Mr. Mathews is a member of the Arkansas State Bar and the State Bar of Georgia.
About Stuart
Mr. Mathews completed his undergraduate work at the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He also focused on Interdisciplinary Environmental Studies. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Charleston School of Law. In addition to his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Mathews earned an LL.M. in Tax from the University of Alabama School of Law.
Prior to becoming a part of Quraishi Law Firm, Mr. Mathews represented clients throughout Arkansas and Georgia. His clients were in various industries including, but not limited to, agricultural, banking, commodities, transportation, and waste industries. He counseled clients on all business matters and issues including business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing transactions, corporate and limited liabilty company/partnership formations and reorganizations.
Stuart also has significant experience handling business and tax issues affecting families and small business owners regarding business planning, business succession, tax, and estate planning matters. Prior to practicing as a solo practitioner, he served as general council for a national consulting and commodities firm.
On a personal note, Stuart and his wife, Brooke, have two wonderful children. The family loves spending time at the beach, grilling out and watching college football, particularly the Alabama Crimson Tide. As an avid outdoorsman, Stuart enjoys hunting, fishing, and gardening.
